Blogger Sentral has migrated to custom domain
Blogger Sentral is now located at http://www.bloggersentral.com/. Look inside your browser’s address bar for confirmation! Please update your Blogroll or Linklist to the new url. Of course you can still access the old tutorials from their original blogspot urls -they will be redirected to this new domain automatically, no worries.
The migration itself went smoothly and rather uneventful. But once the migration completed, the troubles stepped in. I have to say all of them troubles came as no surprise to me, but I can’t help but feel helpless in this situation. I saw the troubles coming but could do nothing to stop them, and there were no escape.
Here are the problems:
- My comments disappeared, yep now zero comments. I’m not panicking (yet). I’ll wait, hoping the comments will come back in a day or two. If not…then time to panic!
Update: All comment returned on 27 Apr. Thank you Gatsby.
- I started using Disqus commenting system recently. I just could not get Disqus to sync the comments with Blogger, hence Disqus comments stays with Disqus and did not add up to existing comments in Blogger. I searched the net to find a solution, only to find out many others also suffer similar problems. I guess I’m going to lose those comments (some 80+ comments). I submitted a help request to Disqus, now waiting an answer.
- PR dropped from PR3 to PR0. This is expected, but I’m hoping this is a temporary thing and I would get PR3 back in the next Google page rank update.
If you have any suggestion or link that I can go to (to alleviate my suffering :( ), please feel free to share it in the comments. And wish me luck, ‘cause I’m gonna need it.

cool.. all the best with the new domain.. perhaps a webhost later? =)
@kenwooi
thanks. Webhost later? Umm maybe...if things get better that is.
Finally...You canged this DISQUS comment form. It's good. But it takes time to comment in default blogger comments form. One of my reader is saying that :D
Congrats, You have your own domain now and best of luck for future blogging :)
I already to your blog when you have DISQUS comment form. But you don't publish :(
Any way, You will loss your Page Rank , it is not a problem. You will absolutely get back PR in next update.
When I change my domain, my all comments are also deleted. But I recover my comments. The like which I place to comments is not counting my all comments well. But in the post page it is visible. Hope you also can get it back :)
@Anup
I really liked Disqus but comments syncing problem, makes me return to Blogger's default. I guess I will stay with Blogger's until they get the syncing to work.
I did publish your comment just before switching back, but it stays with Disqus. If I were to return to Disqus, then you'll see it.
Thanks for the encouraging words, I appreciate it :)
Did you do anything special to get your comments return?
I switched a week ago and my comments are still gone....
Thanks,
Melissa
